The organisers have appointed Ovation Spain as the official tours agency. They will be at your service to provide assistance with tours and airport transfers throughout your stay in Madrid. Ovation Spain will have a desk in the Welcome Area during the Forum for any last minute reservations and advice.
The proposed tours are available every day from 26th of September to the 1st of October 2010 and will allow you to comfortably see the highlights of Madrid and its surroundings. Tours will depart from the Palacio de Congresos and complete descriptions and rates are available on the Forum website.




Royal Palace, walking tour & Lunch
Housed in the old Alcázar building, the Royal Palace was built during the 18th century. It is one of Europe’s richest palaces and is very well preserved. The Royal Palace hosts the Spanish Crown’s official receptions and meetings. Many artistic works belonging to the royal family can also be admired. You will enjoy lunch at Botin restaurant, the town’s oldest typical restaurant and then a walking tour in the old quarter of Madrid (Major Square, Baja street...).
Madrid Panoramic Tour
Discover Madrid under its different historical periods by bus (Habsburg period, Bourbon period). You will drive past the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sul squares, see the city’s main monuments (Palacio Real, Teatro Real, Museo del Prado…) and fountains. The sightseeing tour will also bring you through the aristocratic quarter of Salamanca, where distinguished designers have their boutiques and along the elegant La Castellana avenue leading to the city’s financial quarter…
Full Day in Toledo
Located 70 km away from Madrid, Toledo forms part of the world heritage. You will stroll through this beautiful medieval city on foot. The painter El Greco lived in Toledo during most of his life and the city still holds the quarters of the Cardinal Primate. You will also have the opportunity to visit Toledo’s emblematic Gothic Cathedral, El Greco, Santa Maria and San Juan de los Reyes churches. At the Bodegas Adulfo wine cellar, considered to have one of the best wine ranges in Spain, a wine course will be followed by lunch.
Full day Tour in Salamanca
Salamanca is famous for its oldest university in Spain. This charming town is situated 212 km away from Madrid and has kept its original architecture. More recent buildings are constructed within Salamanca's culture and tradition. The city has been declared "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO. Your visit’s highlights: the cathedral marked by the transition from gothic to Renaissance period, the university, the main square and monasteries... Then you will enjoy a traditional lunch at Don Mauro situated at the heart of Salamanca.
